Danfoss is looking for an Application Support Engineer who will be responsible for providing world-class technical support for the Danfoss Product Portfolio within the Cooling division, with a focus on industrial refrigeration.

In this position, you will work closely with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers, providing technical support for Danfoss products related to the Cooling segment to our customers: OEMs, contractors, and wholesalers in France.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.
- Provide relevant technical support to customers and sales teams for both existing and future business,
- Identify critical sales factors from a technical standpoint in customer projects, and propose and drive activities to achieve them,
- Participate in and perform product and training presentations, including new product introductions,
- Handle specific customer requests in collaboration with other Danfoss Cooling departments,
- Ensure products are properly handled and installed at the customer factory level,
- Coordinate technical decisions with factories and Account Managers,
- Maintain and cultivate customer relationships with emphasis on key decision-makers; frequently visit customers to enhance overall visibility and customer loyalty,
- Write reports and documentation.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields,
- Three years of experience in industrial refrigeration, with a focus on ammonia installations,
- Good knowledge of vapor compression systems, heat transfer processes, and product technologies,
- Capability to understand and analyze the interactions between refrigerating circuit components and their impacts on reliability and efficiency,
- Strong relationship-building and team-player skills in a global environment,
- Customer-focused with the ability to work effectively in a sales organization,
- Comfort and aptitude for engaging with customers and strong communication skills,
- Proficiency in MS Office,
- Fluent in English and French,
- Willingness to travel regularly within the country, with travel time accounting for 10%.
