We have recently been voted the best charging network in the UK, France, and the Netherlands, a testimony to our drive to offer the best charging experience to EV drivers **Your role**: The Strategic Sourcing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Materials & Engineering team delivers exceptional engineering and supply chain solutions to the local roll-out teams within Construction Management. This role is essential for managing our global supplier network, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring seamless material supply for ongoing and future construction projects. **Key Responsibilities**: **Supplier Management**: - Oversee relationships with global suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and construction needs across all countries. - Develop and implement a strategic supplier portfolio, identifying and onboarding new suppliers as needed. - Manage supplier performance through key metrics, fostering continuous improvement. - Negotiate agreements, contracts, and pricing to ensure optimal value and terms for the organization. **Collaboration & Communication**: - Partner with the Supply Chain Quality Manager, Operational Risk Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure material quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements. - Serve as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers, resolving issues and aligning expectations. - Collaborate with local Project Managers Construction, to ensure seamless delivery of materials. **Process Improvement**: - Identify and implement opportunities to improve supplier management processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. - Monitor market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities within the supply chain. **Who we are looking for**: - Proven track record (3 years minimum of experience) in supplier management, sourcing, or a related role within construction, manufacturing, or engineering industries. - Experience in working with global suppliers and managing cross-border supply. - Willingness to travel, expected twice a month on average; - Strong analytical skills with expertise in supplier performance management and sourcing strategies. - Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies. - Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving approach. - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus. **Our perks**: We work hard to change the world, but we don't forget to recognise & celebrate our successes, big and small.
