In a context of strong growth, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Intern to assist with financial operations, reporting activities, and legal & administrative tasks.

You will join a team of 3, reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations. You will be located in Paris and actively collaborating with different teams in France and the US.

**What you'll do & learn**

Financial Operations:

- Invoicing activities (payables & receivables)
- Expense management and receipts collection
- Accounting coordination (assist accountants by providing the requested information)
- Monitor Travel & Expenses on a monthly basis
- Prepare financial reports for government grants

Management Control and reporting:

- Participate to the production of financial statements based on accounting data
- Monitor budgets & actuals per department and conduct gap analysis
- Participate in financial closing activities
- Prepare investor reports
- Assist auditors in the yearly closing
- Conduct occasional analysis depending on business requirements
- Assist with budgeting activities

Legal & administrative coordination
- Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor insurance contracts, GDPR, and other compliance initiatives
- Coordinate with our legal advisors and provide them with the necessary documentation
- Assist with the preparation and organization of board meetings and other committees

**Requirements**:

- Preparing a master’s degree in Finance
- Knowledge of French accounting (basic knowledge of US accounting would be a plus)
- Previous professional experience in Finance would be appreciated
- Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
- Discretion & sense of confidentiality
- Fluency in English (spoken & written)
