Head of Strategic Finance

**About the role***:
We are creating a key role within our finance team: Head of Strategic Finance, who will play a central role in building, managing, and communicating our financial performance to both internal and external stakeholders.

**Your Role**:
Reporting to our CFO (Charles), you will be the go-to expert for strategic financial modeling at Driveco, and the key point of contact for shareholders, investors, and financial partners. This is a strategic, cross-functional, and hands-on position, with direct exposure to the executive committee.

**Your main responsibilities**:
**1. Business Plan Development and Management**:
You will design, maintain, and manage Driveco’s long-term financial model, working closely with the finance, strategy, operations, and business development teams.

You will structure key assumptions, challenge business inputs, and propose alternative scenarios to support strategic decision-making.

You will analyze the financial impact of key initiatives (new product launches, international expansion, M&A, strategic partnerships, etc.).

**2. Advanced Financial Modeling**

You will build dynamic, scalable, and robust models tailored to the company’s needs (fundraising, project financing, ROI, pricing, etc.).

You have expert-level Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros...) and an interest in Python to automate and enhance certain analyses.

**3. Stakeholder and Investor Relations**
You will prepare and present financial analyses for the board, investors, infrastructure funds, and banking partners.

You are able to simplify complex data and defend your analyses in high-stakes discussions.

You will play a key role in fundraising, structured financing, and due diligence processes.

**4. Performance Monitoring & Business Support**

You will support the Business Development team in analyzing investment projects: business cases, financial planning, offer structuring.

You will track actual vs. forecast performance and propose optimization levers.

You will work closely with the FP&A team to help structure financial reporting tools.

**5. Team Leadership & Structuring**

You will supervise a Financial Analyst and coordinate modeling work with leadership.

You will actively contribute to building a high-performing finance function in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where everything is still being built.

**Preferred** Experience**:
***Your Profile**:

- You have **at least 10 years of experience** in financial modeling, ideally with a mixed background in **strategy or transaction consulting, investment banking**, and/or **a scale-up or PE-backed environment**.
- You are known for your **analytical rigor**, your ability to build reliable models, and your attention to detail.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to challenge, persuade, simplify, and work cross-functionally.
- You are an expert in **Excel** and comfortable in technical environments (Python, SQL, BI tools ).
- You want to bring your skills to a high-impact environmental project, in a rapidly scaling company where responsibility and autonomy are valued.
