Novoptim is a strategy consulting firm focused on marketing and commercial development for Biotech/Life Sciences. We help US/EU startups and scale-ups accelerate their penetration of the European market.
Your role
Within a project team (Project Manager, Marketing Consultant, Inside Sales Consultant), you help generate and qualify opportunities for Novoptim's clients and feed the pipeline through to handover to the sales force.
Main responsibilities
- Prospecting & sourcing:
identify target accounts and persona contacts. - Multichannel outreach:
personalized emails, calling, LinkedIn, sequence setup, A/B testing, follow-ups. - Qualification:
uncover needs, score leads, assess fit (problem, timing, budget, stakeholders). - Handover & closing support:
book meetings, prepare briefs for Business Developers/client teams, track next steps. - CRM & reporting:
diligently update the CRM, track metrics (response, MQL/SQL, meetings booked), provide a weekly summary. - Sales enablement:
contribute to call scripts, email templates, value messaging; perform on-the-ground competitive monitoring.
Profile sought
- Education:
Master's degree (Bac+5) in Life Sciences/Biotech. - Languages:
Professional English - Skills:
excellent written/oral communication, confident on the phone, active listening, ability to synthesize, strong organization and multi-project prioritization, results-driven. - Mindset:
proactive, persistent, impact-oriented, rigorous with data (CRM). - Bonus:
first experience in prospecting/inside sales, using a CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and emailing tools.

- How to structure a B2B outbound engine (ICP, messaging, cadences).
- How to qualify complex opportunities in scientific environments.
- How to manage a pipeline and business-oriented KPIs.
- How to collaborate in consulting mode with international teams.
Potential next steps
At the end of the internship, opportunities may lead to Inside Sales or Business Development roles, depending on performance and needs.
