DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role
The Global Services Controller will play a critical role in shaping the financial foundation of the company's emerging Global Services organization.

This role is responsible for designing and implementing robust monthly financial reporting for Services, establishing financial governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making as the company evolves from a product-centric model toward a scalable services strategy.

Operating at the intersection of Finance and Global Services leadership, the role requires a hands-on builder mindset, strong analytical capability, and the ability to work effectively in an environment where processes, systems, and metrics are still being defined.

As The Global Services Controller, You Will

• Financial Reporting & Controls:
• Design, implement, and own monthly financial reporting for Global Services, including revenue, margin, cost structure, utilization, and other service-related metrics
• Establish consistent reporting definitions, KPIs, and financial frameworks for services performance across regions and service lines.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of services financial data in close coordination with Group Finance teams
• Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead services-specific budgeting and forecasting processes, aligned with corporate financial planning cycles
• Build forecasting capabilities for services revenue, costs, and margins in an environment with limited historical data
• Identify risks and opportunities within the services P&L and proactively communicate insights to senior leadership
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Act as a key liaison between Finance, Global Services, Operations, Sales, and IT to align financial reporting with operational realities.
• Support the integration of services financials into existing ERP and reporting systems, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Educate stakeholders on services financial metrics and performance drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

About you
The Ideal Global Services Controller

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred
• 7-10+ years of progressive finance or controllership experience, with exposure to services, consulting, SaaS, or recurring revenue models strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience building financial reporting and processes in a developing or transformational environment
• Strong understanding of services P&L dynamics, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, and margin analysis
• Advanced financial modelling, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience working in a matrixed organization with solid and dotted reporting lines
• Familiarity with global operations and multi-region services delivery models
• Experience implementing or improving ERP/reporting systems for services organizations
• Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity and incomplete data
• Passion for building scalable financial infrastructure that enables growth
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong partnership mindset with both Finance and Services leadership
