We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate
International Real Estate &
Environment Legal Counsel
to play a pivotal role in shaping our global footprint and advancing our ambitious environmental agenda.

Directly reporting to the Deputy General Counsel of the SO2i Legal team (Sustainability, Operations, IT and Real Estate), you will be advising the Group in the legal framing of its Real Estate projects worldwide and supporting it in its Environmental activities.

You will join the dynamic SO2i Legal team, a highly collaborative and supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will directly impact L'Oréal's global strategic objectives and operations.

Here's how you will have a role to play in this team:
Real Estate- Secure group Real estate projects worldwide (including France) from a legal standpoint including:

• For Real Estate projects in France: structure Real Estate transactions, draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts such as Sale and Acquisition agreements, Lease agreements, Forward Lease agreements, Construction agreements.
• For Real Estate projects in other Zones: support and advise Zone and Country legal counsels on Real Estate legal issues, review the legal structuration of the real estate projects as well as the main legal documentation.
• Contribute to the implementation or revision of the Group's standard Real Estate contractual documentation and guidelines, participate in the animation of our legal community and in training programs for business teams.
• Participate in the management of Pre-litigation and litigation related to Real Estate activities.

Environment

• Provide clear and pragmatic legal advice on environmental law ;
• Contribute to the implementation of the Group environmental obligations;
• Participate in the animation of our legal community and in training programs for business teams.

The skills that you will need to make an impact:

• +5 years of professional as international in-house legal counsel or in a law firm in Real Estate. An additional experience in Environmental law would be highly appreciated.
• Postgraduate degree in Law (preferably in Real Estate)
• Solid drafting skills & experience of contract negotiation & complex transactions
• Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a multinational organization
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Rigor, organization and sense of confidentiality
