Job Title

Product Manager Lead, Payment Orchestration and Operations

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager Lead to join us at this exciting time in our journey and lead the continued evolution of the Outpayce portfolio, supporting growth across our Pay In and Pay Out business lines.

This role leads a team of four Product Managers and Product Owners responsible for developing Payment Orchestration capabilities (including Pay In and Pay Out ecosystems) and associated services that optimize Payment Operations—such as the XPP Portal (our internal portal for search, reporting, analytics, alerting, monitoring, and notifications). The group will also advance data and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to support the rest of the Outpayce portfolio across functions.

This team partners closely with other Product Management groups within the FinHub Departmentas well as Vertical Heads, research and development (R&D) leaders, Product Marketing, and Support Functions (Legal, Operations, Finance, Support).

Main responsibilities
Define and lead the evolution of our Payment Orchestration capabilities and Operations services to better serve Customer Verticals and Amadeus business lines across both Pay In and Pay Out ecosystems.

In a nutshell:

1.Product Strategy, Roadmap, and Priorities Definition

Set the vision and roadmap; align with Outpayce, FinHub, and Vertical strategies; prioritize using customer insights, market data, risk, and return on investment (ROI).

2.Work with R&D and Implementation

Partner with Outpayce R&D teams in an agile environment to confirm priorities and manage product enhancements; oversee deliveries from product definition through release, ensuring end-to-end solution consistency and coordinating impacts with other Product Domains and Delivery and Implementation functions.

3.Product Readiness and Go-to-Market

Partner with Product Marketing on go-to-market strategy and deployment plans for minimum viable product (MVP) pilots and full-solution launches; drive product readiness activities with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Customer Care; supervise post-launch activities (e.g., booking volumes, production issues, customer feedback) and adjust the roadmap as needed.

4.Team Management and Development

Lead and support a team of four Product Managers and Product Owners on prioritization, discovery, and decision-making; set standards for product quality and execution discipline; foster collaboration by facilitating regular feedback sessions and implementing action plans; grow and retain talent by setting clear objectives and expectations, providing constructive feedback, and creating personal development plans with at least three follow-up sessions per year; measure product management performance using Department key performance indicators (KPIs) for prioritization, execution, and post-launch monitoring.

5. Stakeholder Alignment and Execution Governance

Act as Business Owner across Outpayce delivery trains (our internal cross-functional delivery programs) to ensure roadmap execution aligns with FinHub and Vertical strategies and that cross-domain dependencies are managed effectively.

About the ideal candidate

  • Significant experience (for example, 8+ years) building and successfully launching software products in a leading role, ideally with direct experience in the travel and payments industries.

  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and across borders, drawing on broader teams to execute strategies effectively; familiarity with agile ways of working is a plus.

Skills and knowledge

  • Leadership and stakeholder-influencing skills; ability to translate complex topics into clear, plain language for diverse audiences; experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations; accountability and a proactive approach; change management and flexibility, including openness to new ideas and continuous improvement.

  • Strong business understanding of the travel industry, payments, and merchant capabilities; customer and value focus, including business case creation and ROI-driven prioritization; ability to balance short-term delivery and long-term platform health; structured decision-making under uncertainty; conflict resolution across product, research and development (R&D), legal, and commercial teams.

  • Multicultural sensitivity and global collaboration skills, with a track record of working inclusively across different cultures and time zones.

If you meet most—but not all—of the requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value potential and transferable skills.

What we can offer you:

  • A complete rewards offer - Amadeus provides attractive remuneration packages, covering all essential components of a competitive reward offer, including bonus, equity, pension plan, travel, life and healthcare insurance, as well as lunch and transport allowance and other benefits.
