Job Title: Regional Administrator Trainee

Location: EF Educational Tours office, 5 avenue de Provence 75009 Paris

Dates: Internship 6 months, from February to the end of July

EF Educational Tours is one of EF's products providing group travel all over the world to North American students with their teachers.

The Paris office looks after the recruitment, training, support and welfare of our Tour Directors based in France. During an average ten-day tour, our Tour Directors remain with the group from start to finish and run the logistics of the tour. There are other European regional offices in London, Rome, Madrid, Berlin and Athens. The Paris office also works closely with our colleagues in the Operations team based in Zurich. The Educational Tours spring season runs from March to April & the summer peak from the beginning of June until the end of July. Tours take place in France and all over Europe.

The role:

As a Regional Administrator Trainee in the Tour Director Department, your responsibilities will be varied throughout the season. You will support the Paris Regional office staff to achieve their goals of providing high-quality travel experiences for American and Canadian customers who travel the world with us.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

· Assisting the team with daily issues and emergencies that may arise due to delays & unforeseen events on tour.

Handling airport transfer bookings and managing the Transfer Tour Directors.

Experiencing some transferist's missions or follow a Tour Director to see how a day with a group goes.

· Being in charge of any tickets (metro, train, Disney etc.) for all tours passing through France. Check the tickets, set up the schedule and distribute the tickets to the hotels or meeting points with the Tour Director in Paris.

First point of contact with Tour Directors when calling or visiting the office.

Assisting TDs pre-tour with materials, documentation & communication relating to their tours.

Answering queries and questions from Tour Directors.

Supporting the team with recruitment, training and preparation for tours of new Tour Directors and Transfer Tour Directors.

Supporting the TD (Tour Director) Department team by assisting with other administrational responsibilities.

Liaising with Operations staff in Zurich.

Requirements (All Candidates):

· Fluency in English and French

· Permission to work in France without restriction

· Minimum level(s) of study – bachelor's degree/Bac +3 Licence

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

· Quick learner and a proven problem solver

· Highly sociable and energetic and positive

En tant que stagiaire « administrateur régional » au sein du département des Tour Directors qui sont les accompagnateurs des circuits :

Gérer les réservations de transferts aéroport et coordonner les Transfer Tour Directors (transféristes).

Soutenir l'équipe dans le recrutement, la formation et la préparation des nouveaux Tour Directors et Transfer Tour Directors.

Participer à certaines missions de transfert ou suivre un Tour Director pour observer une journée type.

Assister l'équipe dans la gestion des problèmes quotidiens et urgences liés aux retards ou imprévus.

Gérer les billets (métro, train, Disney, etc.) pour les circuits passant par la France : vérification, planification et distribution aux hôtels ou points de rencontre.

Être le premier point de contact pour les Tour Directors (appels ou visites au bureau).

Aider les Tour Directors avant leur tour (matériel, documentation, communication).

Effectuer diverses tâches administratives pour le département.

Collaborer avec l'équipe des opérations basée à Zurich.

1. Profil recherché

Maîtrise de l'anglais (B1 minimum) et du français.

Niveau d'études : 1 profil Master 1

Compétences : organisation, attention aux détails, maîtrise de Microsoft Office et Excel.

Qualités : apprentissage rapide, sens de la résolution de problèmes, sociabilité, réactivité et attitude positive.
