Dolphin Semiconductor has unique expertise in optimizing energy efficiency.
Our customers target the consumer electronics markets, including IoT, multimedia, and automotive. We help them unleash their creativity to make their products more competitive while being more responsible in their energy consumption.
You will take on the role of Technical Lead (digital design) (W/M), joining the Power Management development team and contributing to the development of Dolphin Semiconductor's products.
As a member of a multidisciplinary team (analog + digital products), you will be responsible for defining the best architecture for power-management products.
As a Technical Lead (W/M), your main responsibilities will be:
Contribute to design and verification decisions to meet performance and power-consumption targets for both pure digital and mixed-signal products.
Supervise a team of 2 to 3 designers from a technical standpoint. You will be involved in implementation choices and in developing product features according to specifications.
Work within a multidisciplinary environment: you will interact with software and signal-processing specialists. You will also collaborate with the analog design team to understand analog block behavior, model them, and ensure correct system-level operation.
Develop IPs while considering functional aspects, power consumption, and safety requirements according to automotive standards. You will make trade-offs between technical/non-technical constraints and development costs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the verification methodology and flow.
Participate in training and supporting your colleagues.
You are an engineer or hold a Master's degree in electronics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. You have at least 10 years of experience in digital/logic IP and/or SoC design. You are comfortable with RTL coding (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog). Ideally, you have used QuestaFormal for formal verification.
You already have initial experience in technical leadership and/or are used to mentoring and supporting junior profiles : apprentices, interns, or newcomers.
Expected skills:
Cadence, Mentor, and Synopsys EDA tools covering all stages of the design flow
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience with automotive verification methodologies and ISO26262 is a strong advantage.
If you're looking for responsibilities in technical leadership, this position will allow you to expand and apply your team-management skills.
If you enjoy customer interaction, this opportunity will give you the chance to work with clients worldwide.
