Cross Border Talents is looking for a French speaker to work as a Content Moderator for a leading social media platform in Lisbon, Portugal

The job

As a Content Moderator, your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and compliant platform by carefully analyzing and moderating user-generated content. You will be tasked with reviewing various types of content, including text, images, videos, and audio, to verify adherence to our community guidelines. Working closely with a team of moderators, you will help maintain high standards of content quality and safety. In addition, you will play a vital role in monitoring comments and handling user appeals, ensuring that all interactions on the platform are respectful, appropriate, and aligned with our policies.

The activities

Part of your daily activities will be:

- Screening User-Generated Content: Reviewing a wide variety of user-generated content (such as videos, images, text, and audio) to ensure compliance with community guidelines.

- Content Review: Performing detailed assessments of content to confirm its alignment with established processes, policies, and safety standards.

- Monitoring Comments and Appeals: Overseeing user comments and handling appeals, addressing concerns raised by the community to maintain a positive environment.

- Collaborating with Team Members: Partnering with fellow moderators to deliver high-quality, effective content moderation services.

- Supporting 24/7 Shift Rotation: Participating in a rotating shift schedule to provide continuous support and uphold platform integrity at all times.
