We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Sales to join our team in France . In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Energy Process Solutions, South West Europe, and play a key part in driving Valmet's growth and customer success in the region .

Responsibilities :

  • Drive direct and indirect sales in France for Automation Energy Process Solutions
  • Lead the team in Energy, Process, and Marine Industries.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Forecast and develop the sales funnel in the country.
  • Explore business opportunities in the Process Industry and Energy sectors.
  • Knowledge of the Marine industry is a plus.
  • Manage customer relationships, consultative selling, and negotiation.
  • Regular travel within France and occasional international trips for events and training

In this role, you will work closely with Valmet teams and customers across several key markets, including Energy, Biofuels & Gas, LNG and terminals, Biogas/Power-to-X, and Marine.

Collaboration will be an essential part of your work, as you'll interact with our Energy, Process & Marine Product Line team in Tampere (Finland), the Projects department in France and other locations, as well as the Sales team in Western Europe and our local service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements :

  • Technical background in Automation, Industrial, or Energy engineering; alternatively, experience in automation systems in Process Industry environments
  • Proficiency in DCS
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Proven track record in sales management and deal closing.
  • Experience in oil & gas, biogas, and/or LNG sectors
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
