About the job

Google for Health is a company-wide effort to help billions of people be healthier. We work toward this goal by meeting people in their everyday moments and empowering them to stay healthy. Our teams are applying our expertise and technology to improve health outcomes globally – with high-quality information and tools to help people manage their health and wellbeing, solutions to transform care delivery, research to catalyze the use of artificial intelligence in health, and data and insights to the public health community.

The centralized Health team provides guidance and support to Google's product areas for the development of health-related products and services. Experts within the Health team are focused on topics including clinical expertise, industry solutioning, regulatory/quality/safety, health optimization, and employee health and safety. We support products across Google that touch the health and well-being of people on a global scale. Within the Health team, the Clinical Team is a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and other health professionals, as well as clinical researchers, public health experts, and people who have run health systems - and it forms a global team with experience across every layer of health in a range of geographies (e.g., US, EMEA, APAC and more). This team works closely with groups within Google and across Alphabet.

Responsibilities
  • Drive cross-functional teams developing and scaling platform capabilities in healthcare and life sciences using Google research technology in combination with Cloud-based solutions.
  • Lead and direct country-level and regional Health on Cloud efforts for EMEA, working with different teams across Health, DeepMind, Research, Cloud, and other internal teams.
  • Possess technical domain expertise, and contribute to executive level partner management, novel implementations and direction of regional strategy.
  • Act as the clinical expert and contributor to the affiliated research team, and will help support health and life science research across the company. Draw from your experience as a healthcare professional and health care and life science expert across all of these domains.
