Accounting:
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing for CGNEE and French entities.
- Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and reporting for CGNEE and French entities.
- Responsible for liaising with external tax advisors regarding corporation tax for CGNEE and French entities.
- Responsible for providing regular financial information to stakeholders of the entities.
- Responsible for statutory year-end audits and completing external audits and tax filings before the deadline for all CGNEE entities.
- Responsible for the annual Jiuqi Close for the Group.
- Responsible for reporting financial information to the Group.
- Responsible for monitoring regular tax returns, filings, and payments for each company.
- Responsible for reviewing PO/PR requests in the UPM system or paper-based format.
- Leading the preparation and submission of French financial statements (liasse fiscale), ensuring compliance with French accounting and tax regulations.
Tax Management:
- Monitoring the execution of tax calendars and various tax filings (VAT, CVAE, IFER, etc.),
- Ensuring local compliance for all projects.
- Maintain communication with the Group Tax team, organizing regular submission of relevant reports.
- Internal and External Coordination:
- Maintain efficient coordination with relevant internal departments (Finance, Tax, Mergers & Reporting, Operations & Maintenance, CPT, etc.).
- Maintain direct communication with the Shared Services Centre to ensure seamless cross-departmental processes.
- Act as the primary liaison for external bodies (CAC, tax advisors, legal counsel, etc.), including audit reports, tax documentation, and DAU files.
Team Development:
- Responsible for mentoring interns and new hires, facilitating their swift integration and professional development.
- Establish and review team objectives and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement. Organize internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster knowledge transfer and capability enhancement.
Profile:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline required. DEC, ACCA, or DSCG qualification preferred.
- Accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
- Auditing experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- At least five years of work experience in the relevant field.
- Experience in managing and developing a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Technical skills:
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in SAP or Quadratus/Cegid systems is desirable but not mandatory.
- Languages: Fluent in Chinese, French and English.
