In the context of our direct recruitment activities, we are currently seeking, as soon as possible, for our client, a company based in Düsseldorf that manufactures equipment for scrap processing, a Service technician (m/f/d)

Job description

  • Performing mechanical and hydraulic repair and maintenance work
  • Checking and documenting possible operational deviations of the machines to be maintained
  • Identifying technical problems and proposing solutions
  • Troubleshooting technical issues on-site or by telephone
  • Documentation of repair protocols
  • Assembling/disassembling machines and hydraulic systems on-site
  • Training client personnel and external staff
  • Supporting production by third parties on-site
  • Machine inspection and advising clients
  • Systematic error search and analysis

Required profile

  • Vocational training in industrial maintenance or electromechanics, with a solid technical experience in mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the technical service
  • Willingness to learn, flexibility, autonomous and solution-oriented work
  • Ability to work effectively and productively in a team across different functions and cultures
  • Stress resistance and a taste for varied and demanding tasks
  • Fluent in English or German
  • Availability to travel, including international
