Fresh off our Series B, we're entering an exciting new phase of scale: multi-product expansion, international growth, and a rapidly evolving regulatory perimeter with recently obtained and upcoming licences.

As Director of Finance, you will architect and lead Finary's entire financial organisation. You will own financial strategy, governance, and performance - ensuring long-term sustainability, regulatory excellence, and capital efficiency as we scale into a multi-licence, multi-country financial institution.

Your mission: support our ambitious AuM and ARR goals, while maintaining best-in-class financial controls, regulatory compliance, and investor-grade reporting. You will partner directly with the CEO, VP Operations and executive team, shaping the company's strategic direction and building a world-class finance function from the ground up.

What You'll Do
1. Own Financial Strategy, Planning & Governance

• Define and execute Finary's long-term financial strategy across all business lines.

• Lead capital allocation, scenario planning, and fundraising readiness.

• Build and maintain high-precision financial models to support strategic decisions.

• Maintain a strong cash runway through disciplined forecasting and resource management.

• Establish robust financial governance, internal controls, and audit processes suitable for a regulated fintech.
  

2. Lead Financial Reporting

• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, forecasts).

• Strengthen financial visibility with clear SaaS/fintech metrics and performance insights.

• Ensure all board-level and regulatory reporting is consistent, timely, and audit-ready.
  

3. Build & Scale the Finance Function

• Structure and lead the full finance organisation: FP&A, accounting, regulatory finance, treasury, and risk.

• Deploy scalable systems and automation (ERP, FP&A tools, dashboards, reconciliations).

• Develop a unified financial data infrastructure for a multi-product, multi-country business.
  

4. Ensure Regulatory, Risk & Investor Excellence

• Oversee all financial regulatory obligations.

• Build and maintain risk management frameworks across liquidity, treasury, and financial operations.

• Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and external advisors.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You…

• Have CFO / VP Finance / Director of Finance experience in a regulated fintech or high-growth SaaS scale-up.

• Have a strong track record of scaling Revenues or Assets under Management in fast-growing environments.

• Understand multi-product revenue models.

• Are both strategic and hands-on - comfortable designing frameworks while diving deep into reconciliations or models.

• Communicate exceptionally well with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Thrive in environments with evolving regulations, shifting priorities, and rapid scale.

• Are energised by the opportunity to build a finance function from scratch and operate as a core executive leader during hypergrowth.
