Join our dynamic team as a TOPSIDES PROJECT ENGINEER in the thriving energy sector This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative Closed Flare Retrofit Projects in Paris, where your expertise will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing operational efficiency in brownfield projects.

Role Overview

  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules and promote a safety and quality culture within the project.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ rules, TEPA referential, and local laws.
  • Coordinate Closed Flare activities across all project phases, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting on scope, progress, and areas of concern.
  • Support the Closed Flare Package Leader by providing integrated project and technical views.
  • Represent the Closed Flare Package Leader in meetings and ensure proper information flow.
  • Contribute to contractual governance of Closed Flare projects in liaison with Contract Engineers.
  • Monitor contractual compliance, budget-related aspects, and support the management of variations and claims.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of contractual correspondence and justifications.
  • Establish technical direction and project specifications during the execution phase.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors involved in the Closed Flare retrofit projects.
  • Oversee logistics and contractual matters related to the Closed Flare projects.
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to Closed Flare activities.
  • Promote digitalization, innovation, and a cost-conscious culture among teams.
  • Gather lessons learned from various Closed Flare projects to support continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Topsides Engineering: Strong understanding of topsides systems and engineering principles.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
  • Coordination Skills: Proficient in coordinating activities across various entities and stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar domain, with experience in project management, project controls, and project planning.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
