What You'll Do

  • Own & Build: Take charge of core services, write clean and scalable code, and influence architectural decisions.

  • Set the Bar High: Champion coding standards, thorough testing, and top-tier code reviews.

  • Mentor & Elevate: Guide junior engineers, provide constructive feedback, and lead internal workshops.

  • Optimize & Improve: Spot performance bottlenecks, improve CI/CD pipelines, and push for smarter tooling.

  • Advocate for Maintenance: Identify and address technical debt, making the case for long-term stability.

Job requirements What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with Python or any other OOP language

  • Backend expertise: APIs, microservices, architecture best practices

  • Databases & SQL: Data modeling, query optimization

  • Git lover: Comfortable with version control and code reviews

  • Pragmatic engineering mindset: Build, test, refine, simplify—smart shortcuts when time is tight

Bonus points if you've worked on:

  • B2B SaaS or finance/ERP tools

  • BaaS APIs or payment infra

  • Serverless, AWS, event-driven architecture exposure

  • Frontend: Typescript / Vue3 / Amplify

  • Data: PostgreSQL / DynamoDB / S3

  • Infra: AWS / Serverless / Docker / Airflow / Databricks
