Our Engineering team is building the next generation of insurance pricing software, following an ambitious development roadmap.

We're looking for a Software Engineer for a 6-month internship (end of studies), who has a strong interest in cloud-computing and AI to help build our complex data-processing solution.

As part of our Engineering team you will contribute to introduce new AI capabilities to our rate making module; to the implementation of the design interface and user flows; and to the architecture of our databases and of the interactions with the cloud.

You'll join a motivated team, willing to share their knowledge and passion for advanced computer science and software development, where your typical missions will be:

• Building a PoC for the use of advanced AI as an alternative to current Rate Making strategies in the market
• Reading and understanding the main cloud infrastructure components we use

Continue with implementation:

• Execute an E2E PoC to use advanced AI:

• Define and create RAG for the rate making use case

• Build AI agents that can create rate making workflows automatically for our clients.
• Implement an end-to-end feature leveraging new protocols. Integrate your findings in production.
• Implement reliable tests, use continuous integration and exploit at best AWS Cloud capabilities with our back-end engineers.

We are looking for innovative and rigorous contributor from engineering schools and universities in the field of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, possessing the following attributes:

• IMPORTANT/ELIMINATORY: You are currently studying for your final year of a Masters Degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics and are looking for a 6-month end of studies internship / "stage de fin d'études" starting from March to May 2025,

• Strong knowledge of an OOP language.

• Familiar and interested in new AI technologies
• Excited about code craftsmanship, to build robust code using best practices
• Good knowledge of mathematics (in particular statistics)
• Strong problem solving skills: high level of rigour, integrity, curiosity and self-motivation

Additional, non-essential, elements that may make your profile stand out include:

• Good knowledge of Front end frameworks Angular, React, Vue etc.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and in particular AWS

Technology stack:

• Java 21 (Spring), Angular 18, Python 3, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker
