Role Description

This is a full-time, remote position. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain a range of features for our AI-driven platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include front-end and back-end development, building user-friendly interfaces, creating efficient server-side functionality, and ensuring seamless integration of all components. Collaboration with the founders to optimize and enhance platform performance will also be a key part of this role.

Skill assessment and trial project

As part of our hiring process, we run a
practical, project-based skills assessment
to evaluate both technical capability and product mindset before moving to a full-time engagement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to work on a
paid trial project
involving the development of a
co-working space module
within our web platform.

The project focuses on building
core productivity tools
—including document editing (word-like), spreadsheets (excel-like), presentations (powerpoint-like), video collaboration (zoom-like), CRM, design tools (canva-like), task management, and calendar functionality—
natively integrated into the website
. The expectation is to deliver experiences that are
on par with, or better than, leading Microsoft-style components
, with strong attention to
performance, usability, and scalability
.

Beyond execution, we are looking for engineers who demonstrate a
customer-first, product-driven approach
, including thoughtful UX decisions, intuitive workflows, and a clear understanding of how real users interact with collaborative tools. Successful completion of this project will be a key factor in progressing to a
long-term, full-time role
.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Front-End Development, including proficiency in frameworks and technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Skills in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development with a focus on building scalable and secure systems
  • Strong Software Development expertise and ability to work with modern programming languages and tools
  • Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building user-friendly and responsive interfaces
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments and version control systems like Git
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
