Europe has always been a leading space power. The first to land on another planet's moon (Huygens Titan lander) and on a comet (Rosetta/Philae). The largest provider of Earth observation data (Copernicus). In the race of space transportation however, we are lagging behind. A new age is coming, with worldwide advancements in the human spaceflight, reusability or super-heavy launch vehicles.
Europe needs more than simply catching up. It needs a breakthrough.

As Alpha Impulsion is organising to assume all-encompassing activities from R&D to development of products to commercialisation over France, Italy and more locations in the future, you will help the company scale all aspects of Human Resources, with a strong focus on strategic recruitment of the best engineering talent from the European space industry.
Mission and responsibilities
You will assist the founding team in hiring for critical engineering and technical roles, with a focus on direct sourcing and headhunting in the aerospace industry. In addition you will participate in the development of Alpha Impulsion on work contracts, payroll coordination, compliance, onboarding, and internal policies.
As the company grows, you will also be involved in performance management, feedback cycles, and career paths aligned with a high-performance culture. Your contribution will drive company culture: uphold transparency, autonomy, and respectful feedback across teams.
Profile
- In formation of bachelor or master's level for HR management or talent acquisition, you are looking for a part-time apprenticeship (alternance) in the context of your studies and are comfortable with early-stage organisation.
- Fluent in English and French, a professional proficiency in Italian will be regarded very positively.
- You demonstrate good communication skills, autonomy, and emotional intelligence.
