To accelerate this transformation, we're seeking a visionary Head of Architecture on Data Domain to lead the design and rationalization of our Data ecosystem.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone with deep Data and Cloud expertise strong business acumen, and a passion for scalable, customer-centric architecture. You'll play a key role in defining how a global leader becomes a data-centric company.

Your Impact

• Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the platform strategy across the Data domain, aligning with business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Data solutions across the enterprise.

• Architectural Excellence: Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Data architectures that support global growth and evolving customer needs.

• Platform Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for Data development and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Innovation & Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance the Data platform to improve operational efficiency, reduce complexity, and elevate the user experience.

What Will You Be Doing?

As the Head of Architecture for the Data domain, you will lead the strategic direction and architectural vision for our Data ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing ONE scalable, secure, and high-performing data platform delivering Data Products to the whole organization (starting with four platforms inside the organization)

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure our platforms align with business goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will drive innovation, platform governance, and architectural excellence across CRM, marketing automation, and omnichannel engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve the Data platform architecture

• Strategic Alignment: Translate business strategy into scalable, integrated Data solutions across regions and platforms.

• Platform Governance: Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure consistency, security, and compliance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with architects in all domains and in Société Générale to ensure end-to-end coherence.

• Innovation & Optimization: Evaluate emerging technologies and continuously improve platform performance and user experience.

• Enterprise Contribution: Represent the Data domain in enterprise architecture forums and initiatives.

Competencies

• In charge for leading technical direction of Data, overseeing the technologies changes, defining best practices and reuse of the platform to continue and increase the reusability of the Platform.

• Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the DevOps and Engineering teams

• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices within the Domain and Platform. Ensure that development teams adhere to these standards

Job requirements

You thrive in complex, matrixed environments and can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. You are a trusted advisor to both business and IT, and you know how to balance agility with long-term sustainability. You speak the language of both product owners and developers, and you bring structure to complexity.

You are a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture, Data ecosystems, and Data management — and you combine that with a sharp business mindset. You understand not just how systems work, but why they matter: to enable growth, reduce friction, and create value for both the customer and the company.

You understand the impact of architecture on operational efficiency, time-to-market, and customer experience — and you know how to navigate the challenges of a large enterprise to make change happen. Your decisions are informed by customer insights, business priorities, and a strong sense of technical feasibility.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data platform architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in setting strategic direction for data architecture and aligning technical initiatives with business goals.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including designing and managing scalable data solutions.

• Strong background in DevOps practices for data engineering, including automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.

• Fluent in English written and spoken.

Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of platform technologies, including cloud computing, microservices, and containerization.

• Experience with Data products and Data management

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
