Communications Internship

REN21 is seeking an intern to support the REN21 Secretariat Communications team in their daily activities and different campaigns.
The intern will be responsible to create high-quality materials that adhere to the REN21 brand and visual identity across all internal and external channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Communications team, the communications intern will:
Teamwork: Participate in team meetings and bring new content ideas to the table.
Social Media Management: Support the Communications team in posting social media content, analytics extraction and analysis, crafting compelling captions, and upkeeping of the Communications CRM.
Production & Design: Assist the Communications team in the production of digital designassets, including visuals, audiovisuals, video production and other presentations.
Website & IT Support: Assist in the maintenance of the REN21 website, performing content and optimisation updates.
Other: Work on other projects or
assignments as needed.
APPLICANT PROFILE
We're seeking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, international environment, bringing creativity, analytical skills and an autonomous approach.
You should be enrolled in an academic program throughout the internship and already have the legal right to work in France or hold EU citizenship.
Who You Are :
• Academic Background: Currently enrolled in UX-UI Design, Graphic Design, Marketing,
Communications, Journalism, or other relevant fields.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Canva, or other designing tools (Adobe Creative Suite).
o An additional knowledge of video editing tools is highly recommended.
o Good knowledge of WordPress and Mailchimp.
o Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
• Strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and
effectively handle a variety of time-sensitive tasks and competing priorities with minimal
supervision.
• High level of strategic thinking, personal initiative and innovation. Ability to anticipate project needs and develop creative solutions quickly.
• Creativity, curiosity and the courage to present new ideas.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work with research and outreach teams.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Interest in Renewable Energy: Passion for energy transition and sustainable development.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
• Start Date: ASSP
• Duration: 6 months, full-time
• Stipend: EUR 800/month + full public transport coverage over the course of the internship +
EUR 5.55/day lunch allowance
• Leave: 2 vacation days per month + French national holidays
• Office Requirement: Based in Paris (close to Place de la République), office attendance is
required at least 4 days per week.
