About The Role
Sanofi's Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) is seeking an experienced leader to head the Upstream/Downstream MSAT team at our Vitry site.
This strategic role combines technical leadership with site-level governance as the Primary Interface between Site & MSAT (PrISM), including membership on the Site's Leadership Team.
Your Mission
- Lead technical oversight and support of manufacturing activities within Sanofi's global biologics network
- Drive Commercial Manufacturing Support, Lifecycle Management (LCM), and process improvements
- Oversee Scale up/Tech Transfer, Process Validation, and regulatory support
- Collaborate across functions (upstream, downstream, analytical, CMC, manufacturing, regulatory) to optimize drug substance processes
- Manage MSAT laboratories and small-scale models for manufacturing support studies
Key Responsibilities As PrISM
- Active core member of the Site Leadership Team
- Drive site roadmap execution aligned with Manufacturing & Supply's strategic plan
- Ensure optimal communication and service level between MSAT and site stakeholders
- Focal point for site requests and MSAT network engagement
Your Profile
Master's or PhD in Biological/Biomedical Sciences/Engineering
10+ years in biopharmaceutical industry
(process development, scale-up, validation, or manufacturing support)
Proven experience with large-scale mammalian cell culture manufacturing
and cGMP Strong knowledge of US/EU regulations Track record of building and leading high-performance technical teams Fluent English (oral and written)
