Expert Partner Product, Tech

Lead a high-impact consulting practice at the intersection of strategy, product, technology & AI.

Singulier is seeking an Expert Partner to lead its Product, Tech & AI practice across Europe (role requires fluency in French).

We are looking for a senior leader who combines strategy consulting excellence with deep product technology and AI understanding, and who can evaluate architectures and product organisations, lead Tech/Product Due Diligences, and guide teams of consultants through high-stakes transformation and value creation work.

This requires a rare blend: strategic depth, strong product and technical intuition, and the ability to translate complex technology topics into clear business implications for investors and corporate leaders.

The role

As Expert Partner, you will own and lead the Product, Tech & AI practice and shape its strategic direction.

This is a fully client-facing consulting leadership role: you will work with investors and C-suite executives, advising them on Product, Technology and AI topics across due diligences, strategic reviews and transformation programs.

You will:

• Set the ambition and roadmap to grow the practice
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of business strategy consultants and digital expert consultants
• Work closely with Managing Partners on business development, including proposal development
• Deliver and quality-own our most complex engagements, including Product & Tech Due Diligences
• Develop new AI-enabled consulting offers in partnership with the executive team
• Contribute to shaping Singulier's long-term strategy and operating model
• You will sit on the Singulier's leadership team and work closely with the Managing Partners.

You won't:

• Develop products, product features or specs like in a traditional CPO/CTO role of the tech industry
• Manage a team of internal developers to develop products

Key responsibilities

Practice leadership

Define, evolve and scale a compelling Product, Tech & AI consulting offer aligned with market needs and emerging AI capabilities

Ensure integrated delivery across practices (Strategy, Data, Marketing)

Embed AI methodologies and tooling into Product & Tech engagements

Commercial leadership & market presence

Support Partners on commercial development: proposals, pitches, recommendations, accounts growth

Represent Singulier externally in Product, Tech and private equity ecosystems

Develop your own expert brand and thought leadership on Product, Tech & AI topics

Client delivery & expert advisory

Lead Product & Tech due diligences from scoping to investor recommendations

Advise C-suite leaders on product strategy, technology roadmaps, architecture choices, AI adoption and organisational design

Translate complex technical assessments into actionable strategic recommendations

Team leadership & capability building

Lead and mentor a team of Product, Tech & AI experts and strategy consultants

Develop frameworks, methodologies, playbooks and training programs

Build a culture grounded in excellence, curiosity and collaboration

Profile we're seeking and required experience
10+ years in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or equivalent environment

Significant experience leading Product & Tech engagements, including Tech/Product Due Diligences

Strong understanding of modern product management, technology architectures, engineering practices and AI trends

Ability to assess and challenge technical decisions while maintaining a strategic viewpoint

Proven leadership of consultant teams and multidisciplinary expert groups

Strong commercial skills: proposals, pitches, client relationship building

Exceptional communication and executive presence

Fluent French and English

Presence in one of our offices at least 3 days per week

Preferred experience
Experience in a senior Product/Tech leadership role

Exposure to AI engineering or AI-driven product initiatives

Experience working in international and multicultural environments
