An international freight forwarding group is looking to strengthen its
Road Freight
commercial team with the appointment of a
Business Development Manager
specialising in
Maghreb–France trade lanes
.
This is a hunter-led role, focused on developing new business and expanding customer relationships across a strategic and fast-moving corridor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new road freight business on Maghreb France lanes
- Identify, approach, and win new customers (SMEs and key accounts)
- Build long-term relationships with shippers, importers, and exporters
- Work closely with operations to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting
Profile Required
- Proven experience in road freight sales or business development
- Strong knowledge of Maghreb–France transport flows and market dynamics
- Commercial, hunter-minded approach with a track record of new business wins
- Comfortable discussing pricing, routing, and operational constraints
- Customer-focused, resilient, and relationship-driven
- French required, additional languages are a plus
