International Sales Representative – Climbing Industry

Circle is a project carried by RWY a new company launched to shake up the climbing industry by introducing the virtual route setting.

Circle has been imagined by core players of the industry and is going to be launched early 2026.

Circle's commercial relationships will be mostly B2B, but with a high visibility towards the climbers community.

We are seeking an international sales representative to:

  • Build and structure the company's sales function from the ground up.

  • Develop our presence in both domestic and international markets (Europe, North America, Asia, as relevant).

  • Engage a community around our brand, aligning with climbing values: perseverance, environmental respect, and team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Function Development

  • Define the sales strategy (targets, distribution channels, pricing, key selling points).

  • Implement tools for tracking (CRM, reporting, sales processes).

  • Identify and select strategic partners (distributors, retailers, brand ambassadors).

2. Business Development

  • Prospect and retain B2B clients (specialty stores, clubs, federations) and B2C customers (online communities, events).

  • Negotiate partnerships and contracts with key industry players.

  • Represent the company at trade shows (e.g., ISPO, Outdoor Retailer) and climbing events.

3. Market Engagement

  • Assist on product demonstrations, workshops, or collaborations with route setters /ambassadors.

  • Distribute marketing content (social media, newsletters) in collaboration with the marketing team.

4. Reporting and Analysis

  • Track sales performance and produce regular reports.

  • Monitor market, reports trends and propose commercial strategy and product adjustments.

Required Profile

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in the outdoor sports or technical equipment sector.

  • Deep knowledge of the climbing world (regular practice, network, understanding of industry challenges).

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and negotiation techniques.

  • Fluent in English (spoken/written); a third language is a plus.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a start-up environment.

  • Experience in digital business models and related sales is a plus.
