Strategic AI Product Engineer

Role Overview :

As Unlimitail accelerates its use of AI across products, operations, and decision-making, we are looking for a
Strategic AI Product Engineer
who can act as:

• An architect
  capable of translating business challenges into AI systems
• A strategist
  contributing to the long-term AI roadmap
• A connector
  across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and leadership
• A hybrid profile
  combining engineering, consulting, and AI product intuition

This role is ideal for an engineer who has experience in
consulting, problem-solving with clients, structuring complex workflows, and leading AI-driven transformations
.

Your Mission :

1. Shape & Execute the AI Strategy

• Identify business problems that AI can transform — across product, operations, media activation, measurement, and customer experience.
• Define AI solution architectures: LLM agents, automation flows, classification, prediction, optimisation, etc.
• Partner closely with Operations, Product Managers, and leadership to contribute to the AI roadmap and prioritisation.
• Act as internal advisor on AI feasibility, constraints, cost, risks, and opportunities.

2. Design & Build High-Impact AI Systems

• Prototype and develop AI-powered features with key partners
• Integrate open-source models, cloud services, or third-party providers when relevant.
• Maintain high standards of reliability, performance, and documentation.

3. Lead AI Discovery & Internal Transformation

• Work with business, product, and ops teams to map processes that can be upgraded or automated with AI.
• Run discovery sessions, identify quick wins, design MVPs, and scale successful initiatives.
• Build reusable components, templates, and internal tools to disseminate AI across teams.
• Drive best practices around prompt engineering, evaluation, and responsible AI.

4. Evaluation, Quality & Governance

• Define evaluation frameworks: accuracy, latency, robustness, safety, resource consumption.
• Develop monitoring and observability for AI systems in production.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and user trust, including guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Own continuous improvement cycles.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Operations to deliver full AI workflows end-to-end.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, frameworks, playbooks, and decision documentation.

What we're looking for :

• 5+ years of experience
  across software engineering, ML/AI engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting.
• Hybrid background strongly valued
  : engineering fundamentals + consulting-style problem-solving, client-facing communication, and structured thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to
  translate ambiguous business challenges into AI architectures, prototypes, and end-to-end workflows
  .
• Coding skills and familiarity with
  modern AI stacks
  : LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, agent frameworks, orchestration tools.
• Experience prototyping, building
  AI features.
• Solid understanding of
  APIs, microservices, cloud environments, and integration patterns
  .
• Comfortable navigating strategic discussions: feasibility, ROI, constraints, risks, governance, and long-term AI roadmap alignment.
• Ability to
  structure complex problems
  , communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Professional English required
