Job Description
Deepfield is dedicated business line and a part of Nokia's IP Networks business unit. At Deepfield, we build solutions that cover DDoS Security, IP network intelligence and Analytics. Using our Deepfield portfolio, our customers can obtain unique, real-time network and services insight that can help them improve their network security and reliability.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development professional who is experienced in developing new business opportunities in DDoS protection and Analytics at Cloud Providers, Large Enterprises and/or Service Providers (ISPs, MSOs, Telcos companies). Your primary goal will be to proactively expand the footprint of Nokia Deepfield by penetrating new accounts.

Successful candidates must possess Security domain expertise and industry knowledge to transform the Deepfield portfolio into winning sales strategies. You will ideally have direct experience and relationships with North American Cloud providers and Large Enterprises security teams responsible for security budgets that include DDOS solutions. You will present to mid- and senior-level management, so you must be an excellent spokesperson on the topics of DDOS security with customers and at industry events. This position is a leadership role that reports directly to the Deepfield Global Business Development Director.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Meet or exceed orders and sales margin targets
  • Develop and manage a pipeline for selling Deepfield solutions in the North American region, specifically for Cloud Providers and Large Enterprises segments
  • Develop relationships with Channel Partners to best address these segments
  • Communicate the Deepfield Defender solution to end-customers and partners
  • Communicate the benefits, value and differentiation of the Deepfield solution
  • Articular and explain the competitive differences to other DDOS protection alternative solutions
  • Drive customer cases from identification, qualification and success in collaboration with channel and/or Nokia direct Sales and Pre-sales Engineers
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with teams, including, Product Management, Technical Operations and Support, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering and Marketing

Key Skills And Experience
You have:

  • Comprehensive understanding, experience and credibility within Cyber Security and specifically DDOS protection solutions market.
  • Proven experience in Sales, Pre-sales or Business Development to Enterprise and/or Cloud Provider customers in North America for Cyber Security products.
  • Bring recent, previous experience and relationships with customers in the Cyber Security/Anti-DDOS solutions market to the position.
  • Ability to lead technical and business discussions with customers experts.
  • Knowledgeable on anti-DDoS products within the cyber security ecosystem including Arbor or Radware and/or experience selling DDoS services from Cloudflare, Akamai.
  • Sales experience in collaboration with direct sales teams and channel partners.Sales experience in enterprise segments including Banking, finance, education, health care.
  • Strong leadership and selling skills; highly collaborative work style
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed with the ability to travel and to work remotely
