Legal Counsel

We are seeking a talented and motivated
Legal Counsel
to join our Group Legal team reporting to the Head of Group Legal & Compliance. The Group Legal team advises and offers support to all emagine business units and functions globally in relation to a variety of applicable legal topics. As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support primarily in France, however, with additional exposure to other jurisdictions.

You will join an international organization represented in 13 countries operating a truly cross European business model offering local, nearshore and offshore consultancy services to clients.

The Role

As Legal Counsel, you will serve as the primary legal point of contact for emagine in France while working closely with the Group Legal & Compliance team with headquarters in Copenhagen. You will advise the local business, collaborate with management and commercial teams, and contribute to cross‑border legal initiatives.

The role is broad, autonomous, hands-on, and suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑growing, international environment.

Key areas of responsibility

• Contract drafting, review and negotiation. Assist and support all business units in contractual reviews and analysis of contractual risk elements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to operational teams on a wide range of business issues including on topics related to consultants, customers, corporate matters, and day‑to‑day legal issues.
• Participate in the legal department activities including development of best practices, special projects and developing and maintaining templates that comply with company policies and local laws.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, People, finance, and compliance teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including labour law, civil/commercial law, and data protection rules. Support the implementation of group-wide compliance programs and policies.
• Stay informed on emerging legal and regulatory developments that affect emagine and communicate updates to relevant business teams to ensure compliance.
• Assist with the management and resolution of disputes and claims.
• Liaise with external legal counsel.

Your Profile

Professional Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law (Master en Droit or equivalent);
• Minimum 3 years of experience from working in a law firm or an in-house legal department in an international corporation (preferably with focus on corporate/commercial law);
• Solid understanding of French civil and commercial law:
• Experience from working within consulting, tech, or professional IT services is not required but an advantage.
