This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, ambitious team in the Medical Writing department. You will play a critical part in driving innovation and making an impact in the Medical Affairs space, while enjoying a stimulating professional environment that encourages personal and intellectual growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage, evaluate, develop, and retain team members, ensuring proper resourcing, activity coordination, and smooth handovers within the supervised team.
  • Ensure all staff are properly trained and fully compliant with Excelya/sponsor SOPs, policies, guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify training needs, work closely with HR on training implementation, and support Talent Management in recruitment activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance on monthly invoicing, forecasting, and the preparation of financial offers related to Medical Writing activities.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all medical writing deliverables.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and guidelines impacting medical writing activities.
  • Perform project management tasks, maintain departmental logs and archives, and act as a client contact.
  • Provide backup support to Medical Writers and assist other Medical Affairs teams (Medical Advisor, Medical Monitor) as needed.

Experience:
Regulatory roles (up to 3 years), with the ability to support complex activities in senior positions.

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments

Strong organisational and communication skills

Leadership and mentoring capabilities suitable for senior roles

Education:
University degree in life sciences or related field

Languages:
English mandatory both written and verbal.
