Job Description
As part of the Communication Department, the Events Assistant role is to assist in organising public & press events, trade and industry exhibitions, product launches, company events and enhance Bandai Namco Europe and its local offices' visibility and favourable company image. The Events Assistant ensures continued Corporate and Brand Identity compliance through all events.
Your principal missions will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):
- Produce detailed proposals for events (timelines, venues, suppliers, formats, staffing and budgets)
- Ensure liaison with Marketing, PR & Community Management teams to promote events
- Participate in organizing all meetings or calls dedicated to each project, as well as produce minutes and recaps for them
- Create and share PR & meeting schedules with the help of dedicated teams
- Follow event needs in terms of goodies
- Support the PR team in terms of guest management and special requests
- Participate to the logistic support of the PR team on PR events
- Ensure event guidelines are agreed and applied through all territories and departments
- Provide technical support in creating cutting-edge gaming events
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree, majoring in Communication, Events Management or Marketing
- Good knowledge of show/event environment within the gaming industry
- A previous experience in event management is appreciated
- Relevant technical skills to provide support during digital & physical gaming events
- Ability to manage staff and external vendors in order to maximise productivity of the team
- Ability to deal with confidentiality and discretion
- Fluent in English, excellent written and spoken communication skills (French is a plus)
- Strong organisational skills, including managing different priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both within a team and in autonomy
- Creative thinking
- Curious and willing to learn
- Dynamic and proactive

Location
: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)
Contract
: full-time internship for 6 months (no work-study program)
Start date
: end of March / mid-April 2026
Remuneration
: dependent on degree level (from €1,000 up to €1,200 per month)
