Internship: Fine-Tuned LLMs for Industrial Report and Alert Generation F/M

What you'll build:

• A framework that ingests and aligns structured (sensor data) and unstructured (logs, reports) data for industrial systems.
• Fine-tuned LLMs that generate concise, actionable reports and context-aware alerts explaining anomalies and recommending actions.
• A human-in-the-loop alert refinement system using reinforcement learning from operator feedback.
• Cross-modal embeddings combining time-series and textual data, with visualizations and dashboards for interpretability.
• Validation reports and case studies documenting system performance and effectiveness, along with comprehensive documentation and reproducible code.

What you bring:

• Strong foundation in machine learning (supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, parameter-efficient fine-tuning like LoRA).
• Expertise in transformer architectures, text generation, summarization, and multimodal learning.
• Proficiency in Python, including ML (PyTorch, Hugging Face, scikit-learn), data processing (Pandas, NumPy, SQL), and visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Experience with databases, scalable model deployment (MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes), and fast prototyping (Streamlit, Gradio).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; experience in human-in-the-loop evaluation is a plus.
• Preferred: prior work with industrial datasets, publications in ML/NLP conferences, or NLP applications for predictive maintenance and explainable AI.
