About the job
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
The Network Product Engineer is responsible to define, advertise and ensure to deliver of sustainable, robust, and secured solutions. In close collaboration with Group Security, CTO and One Network Program, the Network Product Engineer will propose solutions at the right cost and bring business value to support the corporate business and lines of business strategies.
The main activities include the following for his/her own area of responsibility:
- Contribute and support a medium to long term product evolution and continuous product improvement.
- Manage the advisory, selection, design, secure build & integration for the products in scope.
- Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.
- Ensure QOS delivery and support of solutions.
- Provide high expertise support on products and services.
Expected skills & experience
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
- University degree (engineer profile) with +8 years' experience in Network Domain in an international and Matrix organization,
- Strong experience in driving large architecture, standardization & transformation initiatives.
- Core activity: main focus on DC technologies with Cisco ACI and Vmware NSX-T competencies
- Experience in managing Data Center and CLOUD Network technologies, AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE, INTERCLOUD, Transit Gateway, ACI, Switch Fabric, Load-balancer, VMWARE NSX-T
- Maintain deep understanding of the Network technology and market practices (competition landscape, technology trends) with very good/established level of expertise
Technical skills
Knowledge in Network Security products, SASE, VPN (Cisco, F5), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), Web gateways (McAfee), Segmentation technologies and identity services, voice, wifi, SDWAN, LAN wired, WAN, MPLS will be appreciated
Must have Network Automation skills (Terraform, ansible, Python)
- Must have strong expertise in Network & Cloud design patterns, Security solutions & IT infrastructure best practices.
Soft skills / transversal skills
Leadership – Exhibits strong results orientation, change leadership, adaptability, and the ability to drive collaborative behaviour
- Communication skills – Exhibits strong skills in listening, spoken and written communication, collaboration, and the ability to work in a global team. Network Products Engineer are expected to have the ability to understand and discuss with both senior managers and IT, and explain in clear language complicated architectural concepts and strategies
- Openness and reaching out – Strong human relationship skills, exhibit curiosity and can see opportunities in situations, not just problems
- International profile – A proven ability to work effectively in an international environment. In addition, exhibits a strong proficiency in English
- Must exhibit an understanding of today's Network and infrastructure challenges and trends, mostly at Infrastructure and technical levels.
- Capacity to produce technical documentations and work instructions, including high level documents with synthetic view.
