Job Description
At Back Market, we're on a mission to raise the quality standards of the refurbished industry, building customer trust and supporting the circular economy. Our Seller Quality team works cross-functionally with supply, LAB, operations, logistics, and business intelligence to ensure these standards are met. We monitor, analyze, and communicate on areas for improvement, both internally and externally, always striving to benchmark and implement best-in-class refurbishing practices.

As an Operations Manager Intern within the Quality team, you will play a key role in upholding our seller quality standards.
You will help monitor compliance, track incidents, and analyze seller performance—ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience on Back Market. This is a detail-intensive but vital position that keeps our marketplace fair, reliable, and trusted.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):
Incident Management

• Identify, track, and follow up on reported issues related to product or process quality. Validate cases, communicate with sellers, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. Escalate internally when needed to ensure resolution.

Quality Charter Compliance

• Monitor adherence to our Seller Quality Charter. Notify sellers of any breaches, follow up to secure effective action plans, and ensure timely resolution. Support enforcement actions when necessary.

Performance Analysis

• Analyze customer claims and feedback to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement in seller performance.

Cross-team Collaboration

• Work closely with teams such as Customer Care, Account Management, Legal, and Quality to resolve cases and continuously improve our processes.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF:

• You are rigorous, meticulous, and highly organized—you thrive on detail, even when the task seems repetitive, because you recognize its critical impact on our reputation and customer experience.
• A good communicator and team player, able to collaborate across multiple departments and lead transversal initiatives.
• Analytical mindset, comfortable building insights from data (Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required).
• Able to manage follow-ups and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Fully professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of embedded systems, consumer electronics, or the circular economy is a bonus.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:

• Starting date: January 2026
• Duration: 6 months
• Full-time internship (35h/week - Monday to Friday)
• Location: Bordeaux, France
