Job description
- Design and oversee the development of web-based solutions for visualisation, dissemination, cataloguing, and analysis of geospatial data.
- Ensure these solutions remain state-of-the-art and operational, working closely with the front-end team, UX/UI experts, and domain specialists. Agile and DevOps principles guide our development approach.
- Define new solutions with the Product Owner to meet end-user objectives.
- Maintain and evolve the solution in collaboration with the front-end team and technical experts.
- Deliver regular releases following DevOps principles.
- Guarantee functional and technical quality, including associated documentation.
- Collaborate closely with back-end, security teams, and the solution architect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field;
- Minimum 5 years in developing interfaces in the geospatial and web GIS domain;
- Software and UI design in the geospatial domain.
- Validation of web interfaces.
- Experience in Agile projects.
Knowledge of the following technical tools:
- Frameworks: ReactJS, TypeScript
- Mapping Tools: Leaflet, CesiumJS, OpenLayers, GIS
- Standards: OGC interoperability standards (OGC API-Tiles, Features, etc.)
- Tools: Linux, GitHub, Cloud
Active listening, Creativity and Attention to detail.
