An Embedded Software Engineer – Networking is sought by this leading semiconductor company to be based at their R+D Centre in Grenoble (location could also be in Nice). The Embedded Networking Software Engineer will be responsible for developing PHY / MAC layer drivers and firmware for emerging networking systems and software. The Embedded Software Engineer – Networking will also be responsible for developing Linux drivers written in C and C++.

Your skills and background must include a background developing software at Linux kernel and driver level in C preferably for networking applications. You will have experience of working at PHY and MAC layer coupled with experience in performance tuning and optimisation of network data planes. Any exposure to virtualisation technologies would be beneficial.

Candidates must be fully authorised to work in France.
