The NetSuite System Administrator & DevOps is responsible for the configuration, administration, continuous improvement, and business-as-usual support of the NetSuite platform, which integrates with Salesforce CRM and Certinia PSA. The NetSuite System Administrator & DevOps will also support deployment, hypercare, and transition to run for NetSuite rollouts. Reporting to the Head of Business Applications & Information Management, this role combines system administration, release management, and technical customization to ensure the platform meets evolving business needs in close partnership with Finance and Business stakeholders.
Activities and Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the NetSuite environment, including user management, security settings, roles, permissions, subsidiaries, and environments (production and sandboxes).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to user-reported problems, working within PLG's ITSM processes (incident, request, problem, and change management).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, and local entities) to gather requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite solutions.
- Develop and customize Netsuite solutions managing workflows and system customisations.
- Manage the NetSuite release lifecycle, including sandbox management, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) projects, deployment pipelines, and post‑release validation, ensuring changes are tested and approved before production deployment.
- Maintain data quality through data imports, template design, reconciliations, deduplication, and validation processes, in close collaboration with Finance data owners.
- Create and maintain technical and configuration documentation, and contribute to user guides and training materials, supporting champions and process owners in end‑user enablement.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR), supporting audit requests and access reviews for NetSuite and connected systems.
- Stay current with NetSuite platform updates, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to processes, configuration, and automation in alignment with Finance and IT roadmaps.
- Support integration efforts with Salesforce, Certinia, and other business systems, working closely with the Integration Specialist and the Salesforce Sys Admin & DevOps team, including monitoring integration jobs, error handling, and change coordination.
- Support the NetSuite Project Team with rolling out NetSuite to all new companies in the group, including configuration of new entities, user onboarding, and handover to BAU support.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
- NetSuite certifications (e.g. NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation) and/or Salesforce certifications or relevant technical training are advantageous.
Required Experience :
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a NetSuite Administrator and/or NetSuite DevOps / technical consultant in a medium to large enterprise environment (experience in a global company is a plus).
- Experience supporting Netsuite integrations with other enterprise systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Proven track record of managing Netsuite configuration, customization, and user support.
- Experience with Netsuite release management and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with multi‑subsidiary / multi‑company NetSuite rollouts and group structures.
- Confident understanding of finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, and core finance process areas (O2C, R2R, P2P).
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with NetSuite administration (workflows, user management, security, data management, reports, dashboards, saved searches, roles and permissions).
- Experience using SuiteCloud tools (e.g. SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, basic SuiteScript understanding, and SDF for configuration transport) is desirable.
- Familiarity with NetSuite Add-on Zone&Capture, sFTP connectors, localization bundles.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Certinia and integration tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, or other iPaaS / ETL solutions.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques (e.g. CSV imports, mapping, and reconciliation).
Additional Experience and/or Skills:
- Comfort working in an Agile / iterative delivery context with backlogs, sprints, and regular release cycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., GDPR, SOX compliance) is a plus.
Required Languages:
- English (Fluently spoken and technical).
- Ability to speak French or Italian is desirable.
