Designing, configuring, and extending digital workflows on the ServiceNow platform
Position Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Administrator & Developer to manage, enhance, and extend the capabilities of our enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role will focus on modules including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change), HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery), ITAM (Asset Management), GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), and Virtual Agent. Youll play a key role in configuring workflows, building integrations, maintaining platform health, and delivering scalable and secure solutions.
Platform Administration
Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user and group management, access control, and module configurationMaintain and optimize core ITSM/HRSD/ITAM processes and associated forms, lists, SLAs, and notificationsMonitor instance health, conduct performance tuning, and manage system upgrades and patchesEnsure platform security, including ACLs, data policies, encryption, and role-based access controlsCustom Development & Integration
Design and develop custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, client/server scripts, and REST/SOAP integrationsDevelop and deploy automation using Flow Designer and Scripted APIs where necessaryBuild and maintain Virtual Agent topics and decision trees to support conversational interfaces and self-serviceIntegrate external systems with ServiceNow (e.g., HRIS, CMDB, procurement platforms) using IntegrationHub or APIsModule Implementation & Enhancement
Configure and enhance key ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, GRC) in alignment with business requirementsSupport deployment of asset lifecycle tracking, employee onboarding workflows, risk registers, and case managementCreate and maintain custom applications or extensions as needed for internal business unitsCollaboration & Support
Work closely with functional consultants, process owners, and business stakeholders to gather technical requirementsProvide technical support and troubleshoot platform issues, ensuring high availability and performanceDocument configurations, processes, and development standards to ensure maintainabilityRequired Qualifications
Technical Skills
6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administrationStrong knowledge of ServiceNow Studio, scripting (GlideScript, JavaScript), and platform APIsExperience with configuration of at least two core modules: ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, GRC, or Virtual AgentFamiliarity with platform components like Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and Update SetsSystem & DevOps Knowledge
Understanding of agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow, and version control tools (e.g., Git)Experience with automated testing tools like ATF (Automated Test Framework) is a plusSolid knowledge of data modeling, ACL security, and scoped applicationsPreferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and one or more Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, GRC, VA)Experience deploying solutions in multi-tenant, enterprise, or government environmentsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical fieldExposure to ITIL practices, agile delivery, or DevSecOps environments
