We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific to join our growing Marketing Team, based in the A&O Shearman Singapore office.

Our global Marketing team drives the firm's business objectives by helping partners and associates become trusted advisors, building deep client relationships, winning new business, and positioning the firm as a leading global law firm. We operate as one team worldwide, collaborating closely across offices, practice groups, sectors, and clients.

As Head of APAC Marketing, you will set the direction for marketing across Asia Pacific and ASEAN, aligning global strategy with regional execution. You'll define a clear go-to-market approach, allocate resources to high-value initiatives, and enhance client development and pitch quality using data and technology. This role also involves leading a high-performing, inclusive team and coaching partners to strengthen client relationships. You will oversee ASEAN marketing and provide strategic leadership for APAC as part of the global marketing leadership team.

What you will do

  •  Shape and deliver APAC marketing strategy aligned with global priorities.
  • Lead ASEAN marketing team and oversee regional campaigns.
  • Allocate resources to high-value initiatives and adapt to market changes.
  • Enhance client development and pitch excellence using data and insights.
  • Coach partners and senior associates to strengthen client relationships.
  • Champion innovation, including AI adoption, to improve efficiency and impact.
  •  A strategic leadership role influencing APAC growth.

What you will have

  • Degree in business or related discipline.
  • 12+ years' experience in marketing and business development within professional services.
  • Strong knowledge of the Asia Pacific market and its international dynamics.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Expertise in client development, marketing strategy, and BD at senior level.
  • Track record of delivering strategic advice and driving change.
  • Commercially savvy with ability to identify and execute new BD opportunities.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, marketing tech, and AI applications.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative, professional, and proactive approach
