Job Description

We are looking for a freelance JDE Project Director to lead a global ERP upgrade project, focusing on JD Edwards system enhancements, at one of our clients based in Paris. The role demands extensive experience in large-scale ERP projects, governance, and coordination across international teams within a complex matrix organization.

Location: Paris

Duration: 12 months+, starting asap

Work mode: Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite/2 remotely

Main skills: Senior leadership;
JD Edwards applications from version 9.2.2 to Update 26,

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Global ERP Upgrade Leadership:
    The Project Director will oversee the end-to-end upgrade of JD Edwards applications and tools, impacting nearly 35,000 users across 120 countries, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery aligned with corporate goals.

  • Responsibilities and Governance:
    Key duties include defining and executing the upgrade program, managing multiple streams, establishing governance frameworks, leading diverse teams and vendors, mitigating risks, and maintaining operational continuity during transitions.

  • Required Expertise and Qualifications:
    Candidates must have over 15 years+ of experience in large-scale JD Edwards ERP transformations. They should be experienced in
    end-to-end upgrade of JD Edwards applications from version 9.2.2 to Update 26
    , and
    tools from 9.2.5 to release x
    , across multiple business units and geographies, senior leadership, strong project governance and vendor management skills, and excellent communication abilities, with fluency in English.
