Join our team and lead high-impact real estate projects for a global pharmaceutical and healthcare client
We're seeking a seasoned Project Director to manage and deliver large-scale construction projects (€500K-€50M) in France. As a strategic leader, you'll oversee a portfolio of projects, manage teams, and drive business growth. Your expertise in project management, construction, and life sciences will enable you to champion cutting-edge workplace environments and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and expertise
  • Develop and implement project strategies, risk management plans, and change management processes
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, prepare scope of work, and oversee project delivery
  • Manage P&L, track progress, and report on project performance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in design, engineering, or construction management, with a focus on life sciences, healthcare, or lab facilities
  • Strong project management and portfolio management experience, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects
  • Construction background and knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures for life science facilities
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and client control platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expirience in pharmaceutical current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and commissioning processes
  • Knowledge of collaborative, integrated, and lean project delivery methods
  • Certification in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (PMP, LEED AP)
  • Participation in industry, marketing, and business development activities, with relationships with decision-makers in the life sciences industry
