About The Role
The
Head of Sales
will be responsible for
driving revenue growth
, developing and executing
sales strategies
, and
leading a team
of salespeople. As Sales leader he/she has the right strategic mindset to
expand our market presence and achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends, with a focus on enterprise
- Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential clients to expand the customer base.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyse market data and customer insights to develop targeted strategies for business expansion.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to enhance team performance and professional development.
- Recruit, develop, retain and manage the Sales teams, set clear expectations, mentor members of the team & maintain an environment where all can contribute at high levels.
Sales Performance Management:
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify new leads through various channels such as cold-calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop and execute strategies and drive the complete sales cycles to convert leads into potential clients.
New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's service offerings and growth objectives.
- Develop innovative approaches to enter new markets and industries.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue own new business opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging market insights.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets and expand the company's footprint.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline and optimize the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Implement best practices and tools to enhance sales operations.
Performance Reporting:
- Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Present insights and recommendations for improvement in team meetings.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with marketing, tech, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and seamless execution.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive coordinated efforts.
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Lead negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and contracts.
- Provide guidance to the team on effective negotiation strategies.
Requirements
- Effective working command of French and English, Dutch being an additional asset
- At least 10 years experience business development as well as minimum 5 years experience of sales management
- (Preferably) Experience in the localization industry (services and/or technology)
- Strong, operational knowledge of sales management tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Ability to spend time on-site in our offices in Paris and Brussels
