CyberPals delivers interactive, AI-driven learning experiences that make online safety engaging and memorable for Youth. Through storytelling and gameplay, the platform integrates AI companions into digital environments such as games, classrooms, and social platforms.
We're looking for a Product lead with a background in Unreal Engine Development.
The role focuses on building immersive experiences, networking systems, and gameplay mechanics to support stabdalone and real-time AI-driven interactions.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the development of gameplay systems and interactive experiences in Unreal Engine 4/5.
Implement networking and multiplayer systems to enable real-time AI interactions.
Create integration layers between Unreal Engine clients and backend APIs.
Optimize rendering, performance, and cross-platform deployment across PC, mobile, and VR.
Work with AI/ML teams to integrate AI-driven responses into gameplay systems.
Build interactive storytelling mechanics and branching dialogue systems.
Design experiences with a focus on child engagement and safety principles.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of professional experience as an Unreal Engine Develope, preferably in the Middle East & Africa region
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting; or leading products in that space
Experience with Unreal Engine networking framework and multiplayer systems.
Knowledge of real-time rendering optimization and cross-platform performance.
Familiarity with AI/ML integration into gameplay features.
Experience working with APIs, databases, or cloud-connected game systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Unreal Engine AI systems (behavior trees, EQS).
Knowledge of speech-to-speech system integration (ASR, TTS).
Background in Unreal Engine plugin development.
