Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Azure DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
,
Azure Databricks (ADB)
, and
CI/CD pipeline development
. The candidate will play a key role in deploying, automating, and optimizing data workflows in a cloud ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional data teams to ensure highly scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based data platforms using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
  • Implement and optimize ADF and ADB workflows for ETL, data processing, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and ML teams to support continuous integration and deployment of scalable data pipelines.
  • Automate data orchestration processes using PySpark and SQL.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance pipeline performance and data flow.
  • Ensure deployment security, compliance, and adherence to DevOps best practices.

Mandatory Skills

  • Azure Databricks (ADB): Data processing, orchestration, performance tuning.
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF): ETL pipelines, workflow design, automation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • PySpark: Distributed data processing and optimization.
  • SQL: Query optimization, validation, and integration.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Terraform or ARM templates for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, or Data Lake Storage.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Azure DevOps with a strong focus on data engineering workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
