Your Mission

Position Overview

As part of a replacement, we are recruiting our new Business Unit Director – Ruminant. Reporting to the Country Director and working closely with the Zone Franchise Director, you will play a key role in defining, executing, and steering the commercial and marketing strategy of your Business Unit. 

Key Responsibilities 

Vision & Strategy 
Build and deploy the short-, mid- and long-term Business Plan. 
Define the 3–5-year vision for the BU in alignment with national, regional, and global strategies. 
Challenge marketing and commercial plans by anticipating market trends and evolutions. 

Business Management 
Manage the P&L, optimize gross margin, and achieve financial targets. 
Oversee sales forecasts, pricing policy, and commercial conditions. 
Ensure smooth communication between the BU and the national leadership team. 

Market Development

Analyze market dynamics, competition, and customer needs. 
Identify growth opportunities and support product launches. 
Manage key accounts and lead strategic negotiations. 

Leadership & Management

Lead, develop, and engage commercial, marketing, technical, and KAM teams. 
Define staffing needs, recruit, train, and support talent development. 
Promote a culture of feedback, empowerment, and performance. 

Corporate Engagement

Participate in the Livestock Division operational committee. 
Contribute to the market positioning of the division and to communication optimization. 
Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance reporting requirements.

profile :

Your Profile 

Key Requirements

Master's degree (business, veterinary, or scientific background). 
At least 8 years of experience in marketing and/or sales, ideally in a technical or scientific environment. 
Strategic vision and strong anticipation skills. 
Solid financial and managerial competencies. 
Strong leadership, teamwork mindset, and communication skills. 
Ability to create value and develop long-term partnerships. 
Proficiency in storytelling as a lever for engagement. 
Experience in workforce planning and talent development. 
Results-oriented, data-driven decision-making. 
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).

Location 

Position based at Ceva's headquarters in Libourne
