d2m Services is seeking on behalf of its partner a qualified Mooring / Anchor Handling Supervisor to support offshore activities connected to the construction of a new processing complex in Angola.
The role requires immediate mobilization to supervise all vessel and structure anchoring activities in line with the approved mooring plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise all vessel and structure anchoring operations, ensuring correct deployment, tensioning, and positioning of anchors.
- Ensure full compliance with the approved mooring plan, marine procedures, and offshore installation standards.
- Monitor mooring line tensions, anchor trajectories, and subsea clearances during installation.
- Verify that all mooring equipment and tools are inspected, certified, and used safely.
- Provide technical guidance on mooring layouts, anchor patterns, and vessel approach strategies.
- Ensure safe execution of operations involving AHTS vessels, towing, and barge movements.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and operational planning meetings prior to each task.
- Report any deviation, technical constraint, or operational issue to the offshore management team.
Requirements:
Technical or engineering degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or equivalent.
Mandatory: Valid BOSIET / STCW BST certification.
Minimum 5–7 years of offshore experience in anchor handling, subsea installation, or marine operations.
Proven track record as Anchor Handling Supervisor, Mooring Supervisor, or similar position.
