Position Summary
Due to its continued growth, we are looking for a high-caliber Key Account Manager to work with one of the world's leading lubricant brands. The aim is to develop and increase market share in the industry sector in France by managing both existing and new accounts. Working with an experienced team, you will be responsible for sales volume and targets for key accounts and the relevant sector in France (metal working).
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for sales volume and targets for key accounts and the relevant sector in France (metal working).
- Define and implement the strategy for the target sector in the field of industrial lubricants in France in conjunction with the France and Europe management teams.
- Support and assist regional representatives (DSRs) in applying company sector strategy and assist them in growing regional sales.
- Be the national point of contact for this sector in France and propose future product and service offerings to achieve set growth targets.
- Manage the sector's most important commercial relationships (key accounts) and increase Mobil's market share.
- Use a pipeline management process to track, develop and close new customer accounts.
- Maximize face-to-face time with customers and regional sales representatives through effective time management.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director/DLE/marketing team to design and support sector-specific programs.
- Participate in assignments and ad hoc studies related to the sector.
- Participate in projects initiated by the company
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of the relevant sector and understanding of the distribution channel in France.
- Strong commercial management skills.
- Participate in the preparation and coordination of responses to tenders and contract revisions.
- Knowledge of legal, commercial, technical and product requirements in the context of tenders.
- Contribute to the implementation or improvement of commercial strategy and planning policies.
- Good ability to anticipate demand in order to ensure optimal stock levels on site and in the pipeline.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be able to maximize the profitability of Mobil or Quaker lubricant sales as well as the company brand products and services.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with an ability to build trust internally (support functions) and externally (key customers).
- Optimize sales and profitability through pipeline management (Salesforce or equivalent).
