About The Role
As our Repair & Manufacturing Technician, you will be instrumental in enabling Harmattan AI's rapid growth and success. You will work under strict time and quality constraints to deliver our cutting-edge defense technologies on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture the fabrication and assembly of the various parts of a prototype.
  • Establish electrical and mechanical connections between the different elements of the system. Control the operation of the mechanism, test the machine under the different intended usage conditions.
  • Draw the assembly diagram, write the process of assembly, specify its technical specifications and any precautions to be taken
  • Deliver the machine, device, tool, or system, inspect, maintain, and repair the machines and devices in the workshop.
  • Ensure the smooth progress of the manufacturing or assembly of parts by taking various measurements: electrical measurements to check the circuit connections, machine programming control, etc.
  • Ensure the quality of the products obtained by performing various inspections, such as dimensioning measurements of parts using precision instruments.
  • Analyse documents such as electrical schematics or mechanical drawings in order to carry out repairs independently.

Candidate Requirements

  • Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) or equivalent in a field corresponding to the studies, such as electronics, mechatronics, microtechnology.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing or R&D environment
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment used in electronic and mechanical prototyping.
  • Knowledge of software Altium Designer, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Experience with using a soldering iron for SMT and cable assemblies
  • Excellent people skills, team spirit, rigor, methodology and organization
  • Languages : Fluent in French and English
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
