Your Mission within the Collective
As our technical specialist, you will be the core
Tier 1 Support
and
Digital Operations (Digital Ops)
resource, acting as a bridge between technology and our humanitarian goals. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact, providing efficient
troubleshooting
for platform,
software
, and connectivity issues across the global volunteer team.
Your core responsibilities include: Overseeing the health and optimization of our key platforms—specifically managing our
WordPress
site (troubleshooting, plugin compatibility, Elementor issues, speed optimization) and ensuring the correct functioning of collaborative environments like
Google Workspace
and
Microsoft 365
. You will also manage user access permissions for critical tools, including
Canva Pro
. Furthermore, you will be tasked with implementation and scalability, which involves evaluating, configuring, and deploying necessary
API integrations
and
workflow automation
(e.g., using
Zapier
or
Make
) to streamline communication and data flow. Finally, you will enforce basic
cyber hygiene
protocols, manage user access logs, and develop simple
knowledge base
resources to enable
self-service support
for common technical questions among volunteers.
What We're Looking For (Skills & Tech Stack)
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with practical experience in:
- CMS and Web Management:
Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot
WordPress
installations, including hands-on experience with the
Elementor
page builder, plugin maintenance, and site optimization. - SaaS Ecosystems:
Proficiency with administering and supporting users across both
Google Workspace
and
Microsoft 365
environments. Experience managing access to other core
SaaS
tools (e.g.,
Canva Pro
). - Integration & Automation Literacy:
Basic understanding of
APIs
,
Webhooks
, and experience with low-code automation tools (like
Zapier
or
Make
) is highly valued. - Problem-Solving:
Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience. - A "Remote-First" Mindset:
A commitment to flexible participation and strong communication within a globally dispersed team.
